Hi,
I have resently installed a OS/2 warp server. For the mosto part I am running a windows network (mix of NT and 98se). I have not worked with OS/2 for almost 8 years and at that time win3.1 was the big rage. What I need is to have the warp server to be able to see the windows network and the other way around?? I have been told that I need to bind "net req" to the nic card and I need netbui over tcp/ip bound to the nic also. Not sure how this is done????

To bind TCPBEUI use MPTS utility on a "command line" OS/2 Session. You need to bind TCPIP and NETBIOS over TCP protocols to your NIC.
You dont have to bind " net req", you have to start "net req" after the OS is loaded... just type NET START REQ.
If you are using WSeB, the STARTUP.CMD file is already loading the server service (NET START SERVER) at boot time....
Hope this helps...

JLUIZ is correct. Use MPTS. It pretty much will do everything for you as long as you pick the right stuff. Let me know what details you have questions with if you have problems.
