I'm having problems with OS/2 Warp Ecomstation and TCP/IP ... I can get pings from DOS windows only, and it works fine. Pings from an OS/2 window tell me icmp is an unknown protocol. when trying to ftp, I get tcp is an unknown protocol... however using netscape and irc/2 everything is working fine. Any ideas what could be misconfigured and how I can fix this?! I've been googling all day and havne't found anything yet.

I wonder if you have TCP/IP for your network card installed, not your non-adapter.

Check your System settings -> MPTS and see if you see multiple instances of TCP/IP.

If you don't, then you have it only for dial-up/Internet or NIC...but not both.
