When installing from the CD install halts with the error message: SYS 0049 Mouse$ is not functioning. Can anyone help resolve this.
Does the mouse function when you boot to some other operating system? The reason I ask is to determine if it is a hardware problem or software problem. Is it a serial mouse or PS/2 mouse or USB mouse? What brand of mouse? Is it just a simple 2 or 3 button mouse? Or a mouse with lots of other functions? Can you switch it with some other mouse and see if it works?
