Hi, I'm looking for information, and have searched many sites, but need to get my hardware working in OS/2 warp 3, before connect.

The annoying thing is that I can boot from the install floppies, and run the OS2 prompt, and access my CD-ROM drive. But when I boot normally, I have no access to it. It's a IDE CD-ROM using a driver called GSCDROM.SYS in dos.

If you have any pages with lots of info, please send them to me.

Please reply by e-mail. Thanks!

Hi !

When the first versions of Warp3 were shipped, no IDE/ATAPI CD did exist ! So you have to download a special driver and follow the instructions shipped with this.

I've foud the driver at http://www.mitsumi.com/enduser/1_drivers.html

the driver's called ideos2.exe (it will work with any IDE CDROM drive)

Had this identical problem. The solution was to create install diskettes from the install cd-rom using DOS then load the driver from install disk 2.

Weird
