I hade a MediaMagic sound card with ISP-16 software, I put in a new motherboard JBond, and havent been able to open my audio, when I open the folder with the softward and play songs, it works, or I can play my cd rom now (after agonizing downloads) but if I open WinDAT it says audio drive not open, audio disabled. Anyprogram I enter than has audio has it disabled, I don't know how to enable the audio can someone please help

Hi, I believe that you can set windat as the default player. I used to have windat and always had conflicts. Have you fixed your problem yet? I need a copy of WinDat,If you can send me one, I would be able to tell you how to fix it. Also, windat should not be installed from within a folder that contains other software. Good Luck. Hi!! we have the Windat.. but when I open a wave file.. all I hear is screeching sounds.. it's Terrible.. I can play other things like cd.. or movie clips.. but as far as any waves.. that's also. all of my window's waves.. it screeches.. What do I do? Hopefully we can get this solved.. I don't want to pay out the money.. when it could be prevented...

I have a different problem with WinDat. I have a new system with Win 98 and a new sound card that came with Sound Forge XP which I want to make my default sound editor, but WinDat is held over from Win 3.1 and now even though Explorer file types will let me temporarily change my default sound editor, when I restart windows it reverts back to WinDat. I went into Win.ini to try to make changes there, but no luck. What can I do?

Both of those links are bad, the first one is a screensaver, and the second prog, which was not windat, disappeared when I installed it. I have my old win95 disk, I just don`t know how to extract windat from it.

yes, the download worked perfectly, thank you very much i couldnt me more excited, i love my windat program....oh and on that web site i listed...there is somewhere music i made using windat and windows audio, reversed/copied/pasted/slowed multiple WAV files i made and twised...somewhat intersting for fans of windat... its under sounds and the atom foam computer tape...have fun and drop a line in the guestbook if you get a chance, thanks, atomfoam
