Help! I have 6 machines running with OS/2 - Win NT on a novell network and would like to virus check the OS/2 partions, but can't find the software to do this.

I contacted Norton about 3 week's ago with the question for a single OS/2 computer. They told me had a virus program for OS/2 but it was in the commercial section and it was for 10 systems and about $500.00, Also they told me that they would suport new updates for the IBM anti virus programs of 2.5 and newer. Also ck out a web site; 'os2.about.com', for more help with many items about OS/2. I hope this helps you. I am just a single operator trying to run the most stable system ever made for a computer but due to Mr. Gates grate PR, the program writers have dezerted us, And IBM don't want to waste their time on a single operator, So I am by myself out here looking for help also.

Hello good friends,
I had an anti-virus from Dr Solomon. The local company I bought it from, QA Information Security, was subsequently bought up by one of the giants, Net-Associates-something. NAI?This was a good program and it came in dos, win95, NT, Novell and os/2 versions using the same virus data. Not as elegantly presented in os/2, but it worked.
Hope this helps,
Roland

A very nice solution is the virus scanner from Norman-Shark. This scanner has an on-access scanner. It is now at the beta 3 version. They say that it is suitable only for Warp 4 but i've tested it on a Warp 3 server and it worked fine.
When you open a infected file it immedialty shows a message that the file is infected.Regards
