Comment:
I have a Riva TNT2 M64 video card and OS/2 Warp 3 installed. I'm trying to install the Nvidia GRADD driver but it says I have an incorrect system version.
Is there a Fixpack for this? Where can I find it and what files are needed?
what fixpak level is your warp 3? where did you get the video driver from? scitech driver will work on warp4 not usually on w3. using b120.zip may enable you to use driver from w4 to w3
i have 72 computer with riva tnt2 m64 but when they play cs , when they use opengl they will easily get hang or sometime blue screen tat show all via driver file can ani one help mi i need your help thanx
I hv got RIVA TNT2 M64 32 Mb AGP, whith this i hv a problem on WIN2k Professional.
A file rscmpt.exe occupies 99% of cpu power, when killed, the on-board AGP mem is displayed as 16Mb in display setting!!!, when the process(rscmpt.exe) is running, it shows as 32Mb mem.
Strange is that bios detects as 32Mb mem... I hv used the latest nvidai drivers from nvidia site, but no luck!!!, it shows as 16mb only!!!!
Checked with SisSoft sandra, with diretx module, i see 2 items, 16mb memeory and 16mb video mem???? whats the difference and ofcourse 80Mb AGP mem.
Hi! I got RIVA TNT2 M64 . When i try to play game, something is wrong i don`t knowe what is the problem. If you knowe have fix the problem, please send E-mail. Thanks I dont speak English.
The problem XP-tnt it's a DMA problem. my tnt works perfectly with an old 8Gb drive. but Xp don´t work with my new 80GB drive. I still working to solve why.
hi im purvesh i have win xp and 32 mb tnt64 card.but in win xp the card is not accepted at all. i have tried everything and now my only choice is to remove win xp. Mind u this card works great in win 98 and me. xp is bad.
Sup... I got a TNT2 M64 32M AGP, it worked fine when I had Win 98, but now I'm using Win XP and I've tried all the drivers and when I try to play a game that uses DirectX or OpenGL, the system just hang and I have to reboot... I have a SOYO 6VBA if that might help in something... I even tried the DRIVERS 5.3.2.0 but it will crash too but no so quick as the others... anyway, if you can help me E-MAIL me.. 10x =)
i tried each and every driver for my nvidia riva tnt2 m64 32mb graphics card but nothing seems to solve the problem my xp detects it as a sis 330/350........... and says that it is the best possible driver i checked the chip after removing the heat sync. there is nvidia riva tnt2 chip in the card operating system is win xp please help me out
I have installed Win 2K and TNT2 M64 32MB AGP card. I cannot install drivers. Windows says something about "code 10" error. I tried to install ali agp and ide drivers for win 2000 and still nothing. My resolution is 640x480 16 colours. Directx doesn't help.
Everything I know is that that windows is see my graphic card on PCI slot. I think that I need to change that to AGP and I don't know how.
As a conclusion, the Riva TNT2 driver for Windows XP really sucks, I`ve updated my win XP and it instaled a new driver for Riva TNT2, after that, the computer hangs and the only solution is the "power botton". I`ve downloaded the "most and powerfull .... bla bla " divers from www.nvidia.com, same result. My luck was that win XP has the "roll back driver" option. So now i`m stuck with the an old and less performant diver.
Is there any response from Nvidia ? Why does all the drivers for the as called "old video boards" are so bad? I hope someone will start the "NoMoreNvidiaSh*t Club"
