Comment:

I need to get hold of the TCP/IP v. 2 diskettes to get an OS/2 v. 3 workstation connected to a Win2K server via TCP/IP. I cannot upgrade OS/2 and I have no CD player in the workstation.

Any help?? Thanks.

There is another way if you can go with it. You can get a TCP/IP stack from one of the free available Fixpaks, for more info see http://www.os2usr.org/w3odin.html

I tried to get the fixpack WR08423 but got an error message regarding access to the folder when I clicked on the link. Anything else I can try?

Thanks.

No problem here open the link in browser (mozilla), check your settings (behind a firewall?).

You can download IBM TCP/IP 2.0 for OS/2 2.x from the following FTPserver, if you have an internet connection on another computer.
Log in to ftp://sdm.serveftp.org, login= "os2", pass = "os2". DISABLE passive ftp!!

Note that the zipfile on that server will only be online for two weeks more.
