whaat aaare the minimum system requirements, or is this engough to runit at a good clip?: 486 25mhz 180mb hd 11mb ram chips and tech vesa 1.2 display all this is my only free laptop a nec ultralite. thanks in advance

That should be enough. I'm running 2.1 here on a 486dx33 with 20mb of ram. And it runs quite well! 11mb should be fine, especially considering OS/2 2.1 can only see 16mb of memory. :) And drive space, again you have more than enough. OS/2 itself will only take up about 40mb. So that leaves more than enough for software. As for the minimum req, I think it's something like a 386 with 4mb of ram. So your system is good enough by far... Good luck with it!

thanks for the info !! but how many disks are in the version with win-os/2? mine has 16 disks

In my box set, I have 14 disks for OS/2 itself(Installtion + disks 1-13), two print driver disks, and two display driver disks. So I'm not sure what you're missing if anything?? Only one way to tell, install it and see if it wants more diskettes. :) If so, I'd be more than happy to send you images of the disks you're missing.
