starting rexecd on os2 machines

I'm not very good with os/2, but I need to find out how to start rexecd on my os/2 machine. Can someone help me on this?

Goto your TCPIP settings and there is a tab for services or autostart, something.. can't remember.

There is a long list there...

rexecd is set to autostart on my os2 box, but when i try to run for example on a windows or a unix box, rexec dir or something like that, after i enter in the username and password, it says rexec: can't esatblished connection

someone told me that i might need a patch to get the rexec command to work to an os/2 machine. can anyone tell me if i'm going in the right direction or not?
i really need help.. thanks
