Greetings All,
I need to get a Creative Sound Blaster Awe64 card to work (CT4500). Have tried just about every "AWE,SBOS/2" related drivers out there. The Audio PnP is disabled in the BIOS which frees up just about every IRQ for the SB setting. All works well in Win 3.1 and DOS 6.22 but OS/2 nothing. Should I do a clean install starting with OS/2 first then add Win 3.1 and DOS? System is Intel TC430HX chipset, all partitions on HDD <2GB and FAT16, latest DANIS506 drivers. Even tried a Crystal CS4248 with OPTi929C chip based card and stil no go. Any help greatly appreciated.

Donald

If you haven't already tried it, a "universal" audio driver can be found at

http://uniaud.netlabs.org/

Netlabs also has a SB Live! driver. Didn't see anything specific for AWE64

Good luck,

Wally

Greetings;
Thanks to Wally for his tip. Thanks to plainandsimple also. I wasn't aware of the IRQ assigning. I will try that and DLed the the UNIAUD Driver. I'll post back with results.

Thanks greatly,
Donald
