My os/2 warp ver 3 is getting trap 000e while boot. This error is due to LAN card disorderness.
Now i want remvove one of my program exe file from startup folder at command line.
Can some one help me how i can remove file from start up folder with out booting compleate

Edit your config.sys! You can do this without booting the WorkPlace Shell (ALT F1, command prompt). Add the statement "SET RESTARTOBJECTS=NO" This will cause the fact that OS/2 will startup, but without launching the startup folder apps. Then, remove the app from startup, and adapt config.sys to "SET RESTARTOBJECTS=STARTUPFOLDERSONLY". Good luck!

Yes i is working Thanks
i have another question??
How i can stop my LAN(eather net) card to load during booting because i think it is giving problem.
should i remove few lines from config.sys.

Under **NO** circumstances remove these lines, just add REM in front of them. This will force OS/2 to skip these lines.
Perhaps it is possible that you have more than one statements in your config.sys that launch your network card. So first find out which of them have to do with the NIC. Again, you should edit while booting to OS/2 prompt.
Shouldn't you be able to find out which line, send me your config.sys via e-mail, and we'll see what can be done.
Warped greetings,
Jonas Buys

I am sending you my config.sys but let first explain complete senior..
We are using os/2 warp ver 3 base computer for meaning temperature…a scanner is attach with the computer through LAN card…
When ever I boot my system this software is automatically run and start showing temperature….and an other thing……before booting scanner also load its driver ….
Now what I want..
I want stop this scanner to run every time…according to your advice I used
SET RESTARTOBJECTS=NO
But it is not working in this case
How I can stop this driver to stop load secondly how I can install my new LAN card from my command line because OS/2 GUI is not stable
Here I am attaching my config

First of all: my e-mail: jonas.buys@easynet.be.
Euhm, not easy, your problem... YMMV (your milage may vary), but try adding to your config.sys the statement SET AUTOSTART=FOLDERS,PROGRAMS,TASKLIST,CONNECTIONS. If you want to prevent network connections to load and be initialised during startup, remove "connections" from the statement.
Are you sure that your scanner is attached to a NIC network card? I didn't know that was possible?
But, you should REM the DEVICE=\SCANNER\SCANLAN.SYS statement in your config.sys. Unfortunately, this will force OS/2 NOT to load this driver, and the scanner will become unusable :(
Please send me an e-mail, with another explanation of you problem, because I don't completely understand what you're trying to say...

Dear : Jonas Buys
Thanks for care now
let me explain every thing
We have a OS/2 warp 3 base computer on our location which we are using for temperature measuring, scanner is attach with the thing who temperature we want measure and a coaxial cable is coming into computer NIC card to communicate..

I think my LAN card is out of order and i should replace it...
Now what i want from you please guide me how i can Install new LAN card...
I am expert of windows but new for OS/2 nothing know any thing...even do not know how to install some think or uninstall..
