Reformatted HD But Problem

OK after i reformatted my computer i restarted it and put the windows 98 se cd in and pushed boot from cd rom. Then i pushed the one that said Windows setup then it had an error saying that the command.com was corupted and some other stuff does anyone know how to fix this i never had any of these problems with other computers.

Either the CD is bad or the CD drive read it bad. Clean the CD with water and try again. If the problem is still there then there is probably little you can do, except to SYS the C drive with a Windows 98SE boot disk, and copy all the files on the CD drive to a folder on the HD and run setup from the HD (don't worry about the command.com on the CD. If it can copy, let it copy. If the CD drive can't read it (ie. computer crashes while attempting to read command.com), copy all the other files except command.com).
