Hi, I got my hands on a copy of OS/2 Warp 3, I followed the instructions for installing it from the hard drive and did everything it told me to.
1)Create a FAT partition (D:)
2)Copy the directory OS/2IMGF to the D: drive
3)In the directory D:\OS/2IMGF\DISKIMG\35 there are 3 .dsk files
4)Using RAWRITE create the 2 disks using disk0.dsk and disk1.dsk
5)Edit the config.sys file on disk1
add set copyfromfloppy=1 as the first line.
6)Edit the line set os2_shell=sysinst2.exe to set os2_shell=sysinst2.exe d:\os2imgf
7)Insert disk0 and reboot.Thats what I did.
When I reboot with disk0 and then it asks me for the disk1, I get the OS/2 logo, then a "Loading please wait" screen, then I get a red screen saying that an error ocurred trying to open a file, to view the install.log press enter, so I pressed enter and a box apeared saying...
INSTALL.LOG
Installing Operating System/2
Model = fc
Submodel = 1
Non-ABIOS machine
Bus Architecture |0|Disk Type |0|
Open FIle ErrorAn error ocurred when System Installation tried to open a file
What do I do?

OK, I fixed the prob, to anyone that might have this problem as well, you have to use a second hard drive instead of a FAT partition.
Thanx to anyone that might have wanted to help

Why would you want to use FAT? HPFS is far better. Makes Warp run at warp speed!. Why do you need to install from hard drive? Don't you have a CD-ROM drive?
