Hi everybody,
I'm working as an admin in a place with about 10 computers, all but one are various Windows machines, and an OS/2 server. The server is very old, it's like '97 or '96 version. We have our database on that server, and the access to that drive is open. The problem is, some of the Windows machines can connect to that drive with no problems but won't see the contents (however, they can see the file system, disk space etc.). Some indicate the HPFS386 system, some JFS.
Recently we reinstalled Windows ('98) on one of our computers and it also doesn't see the contents of that drive now, although it did before.
Since I don't know anything about the OS/2 system, if anybody could help me, that would save a lot of trouble.
Thanks a lot in advance,
ulu

Is this OS/2 server the domain controller? Do the clients logon to this server? The Netbeui protocol must be enabeld on the client machines. Didnt the content of the drive only show up in the network neighborhood? Did you check from command line?
