I need to share an HP laserJet 4 plus connected directly via parallel port to an machine running os/2 warp 4.5 with fixpack 15 installed. Can I do this using TCP/IP, or do I have to utilize NETBIOS? I thought LPD on the server and LPRMON or LPRPORTD on the client would do the trick, but no go. (I've had success printing to hp jetdirect cards using this method) any suggestions would be appreciated.

Personnally if its a small network with no routing involved I'd use netbuie.

Unfortunately, it's a very large network with routing. Thanks for the input though.
