Hi!
I have a machine running OS2/Warp 3.0 that needs to be able to access data on a NT Server 4.0 and vice versa.
From the OS2 i can ping the NT Server.
But how do i access the shared resources on the NT server?
I have tried "net use x: \\111.111.111.111\sharename" but i get "OS/2 error 53 has occurred.".
Any help on this would be appreciated. Keep in mind i am a complete newbie on OS2.

Tha message "error 53 has occurred" meens that os2 could not find the PC you specified. I've got the same message, when I want to connect to a workgroup under Win95 named of more than 12 characters. I thing that os2 supports only 12 characters for domain name.

Similar problem. Hope someone can answer. I have an OS/2 Warp3 box that has TCP/IP installed. I added the Netbios over TCP/IP to it in MPTS but how/where do I get the net.exe command for Windows file sharing, etc. Do I need to buy more software, like a requester or something? Thanks. Been years since I used OS/2 and now I'm thrown into support 100+ of them.
