Comment:

I am trying to setup a peer to peer network between a PC running OS2-4.0 and a PC running WIN-95. So far I managed to get the TCP/IP protocol to work (ping works fine from both PC's). But I can't get the file and printer sharing to work. On the OS2 machine the TCP/IP and NETBIOS protocol are installed. On the WIN-95 machine the TCP/IP protocol, the file and printer sharing service and the client for microsoft networks is installed. When the net view command is used it will only show the PC from which the command was executed. The command net view \\otherpcname results in an error 53 (network path not found).

If you have any clues, please let me know.

on www.ibm.com you can get an os/2-client for windows95. with it, you can log on the os/2-pc(if it is a server) and access all drives and printers
