OS/2 Warp 3 has not only the BIOS dependent < 1024 cylinder boot limit (as have DOS, Windows and NT) , but also a 2 GB bootlimit on many motherboards.

So you must make a primary or logical partition < 2 GB from the beginnings of the harddisk "installable". The first drive wil do.

The problem seems to be in the file UHPFS.DLL, which is fixed in fixpack 37 for Warp 3. But when you install Warp 3 fixpacks are not yet applied.
