Comment:
I have tried to install Os2Warp Version 3 on the system below. It reads the first floppy disc then just reboots and reboots continuosly..Can it be done?? What do I need? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. I have a Pentium 3 1 Ghz Gigabyte Motherboard 384 meg ram 6 gig hard drive (Seagate) Pioneer DVD CD Rom
You need to update/upgrade the installation floppy disks. 6 gig hard drive was too big for the original release of Warp3.

Thanks for the reply, however the problem is that it gets about half way through the installation disk then just reboots on it's own...continuosly. It doesn't get to the second floppy disk stage.

the first answer is likely correct, the device driver for original warp 3 disks is too small. they didn't have 6 gig disks then you need updated ide device drivers, look for large ide update zip file can find link if necessary

I am having the same issue with a P4 system and the new Intel 845 Chipset. I am trying to load OS/2 Version 3.0 and the system continues to reboot. Where can I find this new IDE driver?
