Does anyone know if it is possible to install os/2
warp 3.0 on a 486 laptop (Compaq Lte Elite 4/40cx)
with NO CD ROM drive?
I am very new to OS/2 but have purchased this
laptop to experiement with various older operating
systems - i have used windows 3.0 and 3.1 and now
would like to try os/2.

Any help would be really great :)

As far as i can remember it was possible to install OS/2 v3 also from floppy. You need a lot of floppies and a lot of time. There should be images of the hole installation diskettes on the installattion CD.
Before i would check google if someone has successfully installed os/2 on a laptop that compares to yours. Maybe this can save you a lot of time.
