After applying fixpack 5 to my OS/2 Warp 4.0 machine I cannot get into my OS. Upon boot it states error code SYS01195 along with a message stating OS/2 cannot access my hard drive or floppy drive and I have to fix the error before I can continue to boot. The odd thing is that if I boot off the utility disks, I can get to my hard drive just fine. Please help!

if i remember correctly fixpak 5 was not 1 of the good ones. when booting press alt f2 when you see the OS/2 sign in left corner. this will show you the drivers loading, you should be able to determine which driver is causing the problem. i will try to find what sys01195 means. fixpak 12 is a nice stable one for warp 4

this error message means something in your config.sys file is incorrect. use the floppy disks & tedit on disk to correct, or copy config.sys from original disk, or hopefully your backup copy. you do have a backup copy? alt f2 when you see os/2 box in left corner on boot should tell you the offending line/driver
