I have the CD. Is there anywhere where I can get totally up to date updates so I can use it on my laptop? Or does anyone use this anymore?

Is it already installed on your laptop? If so, check out the OS/2 World Forums and software sections to get an idea of what you want to or need to update.

Check out http://www.os2mt.tk/ and hobbes.nmsu.edu - along with the link already suggested.
