Reply: (edit)You should made a partition of 1 Gbytes for the operating system and use the rest of the disk for the data.

Reply: (edit)There are special diskettes to use to load OS/2 on large drives. I obtained these diskettes from a co-worker but I think you can get them off the ibm web site.
