I'm back...
Does anybody know where I can get a generic IDE/ATAPI driver for my CD-ROM drive? (The driver must fit on the original OS/2 disk.) I want to install OS/2 Warp but don't have enough floppies to spare. If there is no such thing as a generic driver, then is there a driver for my drive, the "ASUS x40 Max", or getting DOS drivers to run in OS/2. (I have a IDE/ATAPI driver for DOS 6.2 that works.)
Next, I know it exsists, I had it before, I need the Large Hard Drive fix for my install disks.
If there is anything else I should know about OS/2 Warp 3 on my computer, feel free to tell me.
Thanks to anybody that helps me out.
Brandon.

A standard IDE CD ROM driver is already included in OS/2. MS-DOS is a different family of O/S.
You only had to go down a few posts to find some more info...........

Thanks for the help. The CD-ROM drive actually works now with that FixPak installed. Originally when the OS/2 logo screen came up during install, the system would beep very high pitched and tell me I didn't have a CD-ROM. And yeah, I know DOS is a different breed, I was just wondering if you can "emulate" DOS drivers on Warp.
