I recently installed OS/2 Warp version 4 on a Pentium 100 with 16 MB of RAM, and I must say that is's *really* slow. Though it seems like the "WIN-OS/2" is a bit faster than the 'real' Windows 3.1...

Add more RAM if your machine can take it goto at least 32 meg. More is better. You will really notice an increase in speed with more ram.

Do you know how it is with memory and computer requirements for OS/2 version 3?
Also; are there any big difference between these two versions of the OS?

V4 included networking, whereas the standard v3 didn't (v3 connect did though). You also get voice type, voice recognition software-not bad for a '96 OS and a arguably prettier Gui with a toolbar.
Personnelly I think 486DX2/66 up with 32megs is ok for v3(will run on 16 with lots of disk swapping). V4 performs better with 64 megs though.

I got Warp 4 on a P-166 with 128MB Ram, and I do FAR less 'waiting' on that puppy than my PIII-500 with 256MB Ram running Win98.
As long as OS/2 has RAM - it will fly. :-)
