Hi,
We have an OS2 server running a certain application and when we reboot the system, the server wont boot anymore. There is an error message stating that CLOCK01.SYS is cannot be found. I would just like to know on how to edit the CONFIG.SYS of the system. So that i can put a remark that calls the CLOCK01.SYS file.

Try this out:
When booting, and you see in the upper left corner of the screen "OS/2", press ALT+F1. Now pick the option "boot to OS/2 command prompt" or something like that. Normally, you should be able to boot there w/o problems. Type "e config.sys" after the C:-prompt. You now should be able to edit config.sys.

Should this not work, try booting from startup diskettes.

Greetings/2, Jonas B.

Actually, it should be:

tedit config.sys

rather than e config.sys

Press the ESC button to modify it.

Typically your drive letters or path got screwed up...

Before TEDIT, try my alternitive, I've already tried it several times successfully, and this doesn't mess up with drive letters...

Sincerely,

"e" won't work unless you're booted all the way into the os/2 gui. tedit is the correct suggestion.
