I am having trouble getting my os2 computer
to connect to a win2000 computer. It connects perfectly to win98 (I can see all of the files in the os2 network GUI), but it shows no files with win2000. Please help!

What do you see with:
net view \\server

Is the Windows servername part of the \ibmcom\rfcnames.lst? It should.

"w2k" 192.168.1.2
"ecs" 192.168.1.5

Do yo have an user account on W2K?

Does the W2K server presents itself with a Lan Manager announce. The M$ default is no =0.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameters\Lmannounce=1

Sjoerd
