i am looking for a programmer's layer to win95 or DOS that allows me to cross-develop programs for OS/2 _in_ windows/DOS using C and masm. i do not ask that it support the latest version of OS/2 calls, etc., but that it is complete and maybe something for like, OS/2 386 that is ok.

i would say to code in c only. use general header files. you would be limited to the compiler on each platform.

do not use any dll's or api's. these type of files are only for windows and you would have to rewrite the code.

i believe that masm was developed by microsoft. try to use tasm is you want to write code in assembly.

go to ddj.com, planetsourcecode.com and freecode.com. they are great reference.

good luck..
