When installing OS2 V3, the installation disk runs ok then i am prompted for disk 1, once it has read disk1 for about 10 seconds th esystem crashes on the OS2 Warp screen. I have tried different disk 1's and installation but to no avail.

When you see the boot blob -- the white block at the top left --
strike Alt-F2 so you get a display of the name of each device driver being loaded
in the bottom left. When OS/2 freezes, the name of the offending driver will be displayed.
Try commenting out the load of that driver from CONFIG.SYS on Disk 1.
If you need the driver, try to find a newer version.
