I have a laptop using win98SE operating system. However, certain work applications only run on OS/2 operating system. Dual booting the PC seems to cause a lot of instability. Is there a OS/2 emulator that I can use? Which one is the best? Can I run OS/2 from a PCMCIA Hard Drive?

more then an emulator, you can have windows or os/2 as your "host" os, and have os/2, windows(any version or versions), or Linux as "guest" os's.
Host os/2 runs a normal speed.
Guest os's number crunch very fast, but sound quality is poor(sb16 emulation i think), and graphics are on the slow side, so if uwant to play 3d games in Windows, use it as your host os.
You will need to install all the os's you want to run

ECS, will be including this bundled in there next release, and will be a much better deal then buying this software.
I'm not 100% sure but you may get this software if you subscribe to ECS's upgrade protection program.
