I have a cd OS/2 Warp v4.0 and \os2image is bad but \disimgs is ok.

How create x:\os2image from CD \diskimgs.

I'm just guessing, but if your problem is because of a scratched disk, then you can fix or repair the scratches, or have it done.

have a look at:

http://de.os2.org, you'll find some postings that discribe a way to boot from CD or make a bootable CD
