I just installed the operating system. On the first boot-up, I'm getting quite a few errors in the config.sys file. Such as the files os2dasd.dmd and ibmidecd.flt are listed in the config.sys file but are not in the correct path. The lines listed are basedev=os2dasd.dmd and basedev=ibmidecd.flt.
There are more files but these are the first two that come up. I checked the Os2/boot folder and all of the above mentioned files are in there. Any Ideas

Thanks

Sometimes, if you change your partitions or format a newly partitioned section, your drive letters get all screwed up.

What I would do, is boot up using the OS/2 boot disks, goto a OS/2 screen (command prompt), then type this in:

TEDIT :\config.sys

Press ESC then you can edit the config.sys

Check your paths to make sure they reflect the correct drive letter.

should be:

TEDIT -os2 drive letter-:\config.sys

It didn't show the first time.
