Comment:

I'm trying to install OS/2 2.1 on my HP Vectra VL2 4/66. The floppy phase goes off without a hitch. When asked to remove the floppy and reboot, it makes it as far as the logo screen and locks up solid just as the copyright info dissappears. I know:
a) This is most contributed to driver/resource conflicts.
b) Warp versions 3+ allow you to press (i think) F2 to display drivers as they load, allowing you to see where your locking up. I have no idea how to do this in 2.1.
c) I have similar problems with WinNT3.51 and the LILO boot loader. All three will boot from floppy, but not from the HD. DOS & Win95 boot just fine.
d) The only resources used by "expansion" components are IRQ's 9 & 10, and the memory addresses 210 & 330. All configurable, if needed.
