I have an IDE 10x Acer CD-ROM Drive in a OS/2 2.1 server system. I want to be able to use the CD-ROM drive to install several important applications. Please tell me how to do it, as the OS does not recognize the CD-ROM. Are only SCSI cd-roms supported? Please help out.

I was wondering this myself. I have been able to install it on an IBM Thinkpad, which actually allowed it to boot from the CD-ROM, but am unable to install it on other machines.

I also think it supports non SCSI drives, because IBM Thinkpads do not use SCSI.

I have found the IBM TCP/IP for OS/2.

I have been looking everywhere. Now, my OS/2 2.1 Server can finally be used. The download page was hard to come by. Please make use of it. Thank you.
