Hi Farzana: There are a lot of OS for instance: Windows 9x, NT, 2000; System 7 (Macintosh); Linux (almost free version of Unix like); MVS (used for IBM mainframes); VM (Mainframes); AS/400 (IBM for mid range computers - AS/400 is not a PC is not a Mainframe is called mid range); and among others and what I consider the best and most stable: HP Solaris x.x ( Unix version from Hewlett Packard ).
