Comment:
Hello every1!! :D OK, I got OS/2 all set up and stuff... but now I want Internet... :P I installed the 4 Internet floppies that came with the BonusPak, but now, how do I connect to the Internet?? I got a D-Link DI-514 router and a 3Mbps DSL modem.
The router's RJ45 holes are full, so I gotta take Internet out of one of my machines...I can do that, but could I somehow connect this OS/2 machine to a Windows machine with a regular phone cable??
I don't care how, I just want Internet to upload some files...
How could I do this?? thanx!! ;)
PS: How do I get my system's RAM in OS/2?? PS: I broke my own record!! I stood awake until 5:30 AM!! :D
MEMORY: There is a setting in the BIOS which you change prior to installing OS/2 Warp3 on a PC with greater than 64MB Memory.
NETWORKING: The Internet Connection Pak is for Dial-up only, also you will require the later Netscape Browser. Warp3 had a seperate Networking Software Package called WARP CONNECT (hard to find on EBAY), also see the Microsoft Lan Manger solution:

INSALLATION: On newer PC's it is advisable to use the updated Install Floppy:
OK, I was still trying to get it to work when I was doing some HDD switching, and then, it gave me some error message and it started smelling like smoke... O_O_O I immediately shut it off and unplugged it, and when I opened it, the smell was worse...I took out the hard drive, and after examining it some I found a black chip with some bubble-looking thing in it... :'( It was an old HDD, anyways, 240 MB... XD
REST IN PEACE IN THE COMPUTER HEAVEN, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU AS THE FIRST HDD I PUT OS/2 IN. REST IN PEACE.
I had to say that, but well, I don't think I'm gonna need help anymore...much thanx!! ;)
