Please let me know some of the tools available for Migration(Microsoft and Third party tools)from OS/2 to Windows 2000.
Let me know the step by step migration procedure to do the same.Is it possible to directly migrate from OS/2 to Windows 2000 or else Migrate to Windows NT 4.0 first and then to Windows 2000.

I am in the same boat that you are.Currently planning an OS/2 to Win 2000 migration.Have only found a good utility to migrate Security database from OS server to Win 2000 server.Have tested with ADS and it worked but requires a few changes in password settings.

There is a tool by the name of Code F/X Porting Tool - unfortunately I have no other information on it than this:
http://www.wd-mag.com/articles/2000/0001/0001i/0001i.htm?topic=articles

Code F/X Announces Code F/X Porting Tool Release 3
Code F/X has announced the availability of Code F/X Porting Tool Release 3. Code F/X Porting Tool is designed to aid in the porting of OS/2 C/C++ source code to the Win32 platform. New in release 3 is the ability to handle all of the OS/2 APIs with equivalent Win32 APIs or resources. When special handling of a construct is detected during the porting process, this area is noted within a log used during the final hand conversion. Also new in release 3 is the ability to have OS/2 data types ported to equivalent Win32 data types. It also allows the OS/2 source code line to immediately precede the ported Win32 source code to allow the verification of the original OS/2 coding.

Code F/X Porting Tool Release 3 can be purchased directly from the company for $475). For more information, contact Code F/X Inc., 416.363.2292; info@codefx.com; www.codefx.com.

Let me know if you have some information on this.. I was unable to get in touch with the company (the product is no longer on the website)

For answers to these questions visit Connectix's website. They have developed a migration tool called "Virtual PC" that allows users to run Windows applications within their OS/2 operating systems.
