OS: ibm os/2 warp in vpc
CPU/Ram: intel p4 2ghz, 1gb ram
Comment:

Is it possible to make warp 3 (non connect version) (i) into LAN version, and (ii) connect to the internet via a router?

I've downloaded TCPIP20.zip onto a Win2k partition from hobbes. There are instructions on using the files for LAN ready OS's as many seem to be fixpacks except tcp20c1.exe to tcp20c4.exe but there are no instructions for these.

Assuming I get this far, would I then be able to connect via router?

Many thanks
Brian

Theres another way which did not use TCP/IP 2.0 but 4.x. IBM covers one of those TCP/IP stack in a fixpak which can be installed very easy and it works without any problems (remember this is only TCP/IP no peer/lan server support!). For more details see http://www.os2usr.org/w3odin.html

As a newbie to os2 I dont understand these instructions.

I have since obtained warp4 and installed fp15. A step by step guide to make warp 4 access the internet via an ADSL gateway/router would be very much appreciated. Is it possible?

TIA Brian
