I recently purchased a copy of Warp 4 for use in a proposal/prototyping effort. I am trying to install it on a variety of machines, and it is bombing on Diskett #2 with a Trap 000d, which I am concluding is apparently due to a large HDD on the install machine (tried one with >4G, other >8G). Can anyone point me to a concise list of "things to do" to install OS/2 Warp on this machine? I've already tracked down some of the IDE/CDROM files that need updating on the install disk, but after that, I'm stumped - which fixpacks should be installed, in what sequence, etc. Help?!?

I'd also appreciate it if you could email a reply to larry.baker@psinetcs.com. Thanks!

First thing you need to do is to update the installation diskettes. Go to:
http://service.software.ibm.com/os2ddpak/html/os_2comp/installa/index.htm

You might not be able to get their directly, so back up and follow the links to the Device Driver Pak Home page. It might ask you to accept the terms of usage before letting you proceed. What you need to look is the OS/2 Component Updates, which contains disk images and instructions for updating the OS/2 installation floppies.
