Hi,
As far I know there's a 32 bits version of HPFS named HPFS386 and supplied with OS/2 Warp Server.
About the specs that's depends of the version of the system and the environment you'll be use.
Perry.

Minimum system specs to run OS/2 Warp 4.0 are a 486 66MHz with 16MB of RAM. Anything higher than that will run it very nicely. I ran it for years on a Cyrix 6x86 P166+ processor and 32MB of RAM. Best video card for high-res, high-color and acceleration support would be Matrox (anything up to and including the G450).
But OS/2 Warp 4 is really old. eComStation (http://www.ecomstation.com/) is a very much improved and updated version based on an IBM "convenience pack" reelase with a 4.51 version number. I believe the minimum recommended system for eCS is a Pentium 166 with 16MB of RAM but I'm not positive. It's still effectively OS/2 Warp 4 buth with a lot of work done to make it more visually attractive and add some long-needed features through bundled 3rd party utilities (task scheduler, calculator, Java 1.3, etc).
Summary: According to IBM, "OS/2 Warp is an advanced 32-bit operating system that runs both 16-bit and 32-bit applications on systems with as little as 4 MB of memory. OS/2 Warp is a multitasking operating sy...
