I have a tiny cute 486 SX 25 MHz with 8
megabytes of RAM. I wanted to install OS/2,
because dust was covering. I never had an
opportunity to try that because of problems
on my usual PC (to big HDD, etc).
So now problem is that: I have only 3
diskettes and that computer refuses to work
with CD-ROM. The only idea is to copy
installation files onto that HDD using
another computer, and then...? How to start
installation from HDD?And what kind of partition should I make? FAT16?

Is it not possible to create the floppy disk set from the CD on another PC ? It is some time since I have used OS/2 but believe that is feasible.
Install on FAT16 is OK.

Yes I can create set of disk but I have
only three of them (I found them somwhere
in my stuff, because I have not been using
floppies since 1999).
So I can make no more than three. And I
don't want to go and buy another ones...

You can do like this: Copy "OS2IMAGE" to your harddrive. Add a line in config.sys on disk 1.That line is "SET SOURCEPATH=X:\OS2IMAGE" where X is the name of your drive. You can't use disk1 belonging to the cdrom installation. You should have the one from the floppyversion. Begin the installation process.
I have done it myself with warp4 but I guess it'll work the same way with warp 3.
/Good luck
