Hello,

I am having problems installing OS/2 Warp Connect V3.0 on a industrial computer: Pentium 3, 1GHz, 128 MB RAM, 256 cache, HD ATA 33 with 3 GBytes, motherBoard PCA-6179L.

The problem is that I have to disable the "CPU INTERNAL CACHE" so that the OS/2 get a boot without problem, but the performance becomes very slow. If not (internal cache enabled) the inicialization stops during the load of the devices drivers (after the OS/2 LOGO).

Regards,

Milton Evangelista

Could you verify which driver causes this hang? Press Alt-F2 at bootup. Which fixpak level has this system?

Mike,

I verified that the ethernet card (3COM 3C509B) was hanging my system. I tried another one and I got success with the instalation.

Tank you for the attention.
Milton
