hello,
You're using the old install disks without any refreshed driver? If so download the updated install disks from IBM (http://www.pc.ibm.com/qtechinfo/YAST-3MARH8.html) or get in touch with my update package which is more comfortable (boot from CD, refreshed drivers, enabled for fixpak installs... (http://www.os2usr.org/w4bootcd.html).
Currently Im working on a installer workaround to get more fresh driver loaded on install (like USB).
