Install problem with OS/2 2.1

I have original 2.1 disks. I get through disk 5, then install disk again, then disk 1 again. Then the system says it will need to restart to begin configuration. On the reboot it hangs. I found a faq on some site that said to make a copy of disk one and hack it (it gave instructions) but that never worked. Does anyone have any clues as to how to get this to install. It is a PS2 Model 57. Thanks. Daryl

I figured it out. OS/2 did not like the partition that was created in WIN98 DOS even though it was a regular FAT partition (not FAT32). I removed all partitions and reloaded. Everything went well from there. Thanks!
