I'm not sure if im in the right forum but i wrote the same thing in the os2 forum. I have a computer that wont boot. It is setup in in winnt 4.0 sp6 partitioned in ntfs. I did my standard search on the web and found that a virus changed my ntfs to hpfs. Partition magic dosent work. All i need is to get the personal stuff off before i format

Don't know if this helps, however: I had a non cooperativ Win2000 disk and recovered data using this nice program: ----- The latest version of NTFSDOS can be found at http://www.sysinternals.com ----- It worked just fine. All smiles here :)
