Comment: I'm curious if anyone here has an installation how-to guide to installing OS/2 Warp 4. I've done a little research but wasn't able to find any information on specifically installing the entire OS from start to finish. If anyone has a site please reply. thanks marshall

Reply: (edit)I didnt know about any detaild guide but this may be a good start: http://www.blondeguy.com/InstallWarp4Essay.html Installing Warp4 isnt that hard to achieve if you have some computer knowledge. To get the installation running you have to update some components (like driver) to the current level or it may fail (Warp4 was build in 1996). I've done an update package that will handle all those things (new driver, boot from CD, enabled for fixpak install etc), it also includes a little install guide. Im currently working on the last bugs for the installer patch and will release it in the next week.

Reply: (edit)There is a CD package called WarpUp you can buy with the an easy fixpack installer. Also Warpdocter and IBM(under the OS/2 thinkpad downloads IIRC) have updated install/boot disks.
