try this: - Under WinDOS, copy everything in \OS2IMAGE and \CID on the Warp CD to a FAT partition on the HDD. - The boot-disk images on the Warp CD are in \DISKIMGS\OS2\35. Use LOADDSKF to make the three installation floppies: disk0.dsk, disk1.dsk (*not* disk1_cd.dsk), and disk2.dsk. - Add any necessary new drivers to the installation floppies (large drive support, etc.), being sure to add SET COPYFROMFLOPPY=1 as the first line of the config.sys file on Disk1. - In config.sys on Disk1, edit the "os2_shell" line to read "set os2_shell=sysinst2.exe x:\os2image" (where "x" is the partition you copied \OS2IMAGE to). - Use the modified floppies to start the installation. - After installation of the base OS is complete, you can run these programs from the desktop to install networking, etc.: - Peer networking -- X:\CID\IMG\IBMPEER\PEERRMT.exe - TCP/IP -- X:\CID\IMG\TCPAPPS\INSTALL.EXE
