I have 2 computers. The newer one is running Win98se the other one an old 486 25mhz running dos/win3.1 I want to install os/2 on the older pc but it has no cd-rom drive & my copy is on a cd. Is it possible to copy the files from the cd to multiple floppies & copy them to my hard drive & install from there. Or is each individual file to big to fit on a floppy?

Yes it is possible to make and install from floppy disks. Last time I counted, the original Warp required something like 40 floppies for installation. Go to any Windows machine and open a DOS session. On the Warp installation CD is something like MAKEDSKS.BAT run it to make the floppies. But you'd be smarter to install a CD-ROM drive. You can get a cheap one for $30.
