I am trying to install a nic card on my WARP 4 computer. Following the instructions under HELP, I try to install driver first. Using the dirver install program in WARP, I navigate to the "A" drive where the driver disk is. I then navigate to the directory wehre the driver is but when I click to tell it to load, I get a message that says something like "Profile file not found" or "control program not found". What is WARP looking for, i.e., what type of file. Is it looking for an ".inf" file like Windows?

The Device Driver Install (ddinstal) is just for 'normal' drivers. NIC drivers and protocols are setup with MPTS (type mpts on command line or use the object in the system setup folder). Did you install the network components?

Thanks much Mike. I was able to get the driver loaded for the NIC card. I used the MPTS object to get the job done. The hardest part was having to type in the exact path to the drivers. The MPTS program did not give me a "browse for file" option as I am so used to seeing in Windows, so I had to manualy hunt for the file, write down the path, then run the MPTS program and type the path. Nevertheless, I was successful.
THANKS MUCH AGAIN.

Yes, its sometimes hard point to the right driver, mpts is not very user-friendly. Therefore I copy the req. driver to the main driver directory and start the install.
What nic driver did you install btw ?

The card I installed was a very inexpensive one. It was just for the network here at home, but what I learn here will be used in a project I am working on at work. I have 3 windows machines on the home network also. The card is a Realtek RTL8139 Fast Ethernet Adapter. It is working fine so far.
